Jesus Christ --> Betrayal - Day 7

 Luke 22:48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

This is how you betray me?

John 13:21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

When He was troubled in spirit, was that more for the anguish of the perpetrator? I find it difficult to believe that he was worried for Himself, mostly because I believe He understood what would need to happen to complete His atonement for us.

1 Nephi 19:10 And the God of our fathers, who were led out of Egypt, out of bondage, and also were preserved in the wilderness by him, yea the God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, yieldeth himself, according to the words of the angel, as a man, into the hands of wicked men, to be lifted up, according to the words of Zenock, and to be crucified, according to the words of Neum, and to be buried in a sepulchre, according to the words of Zenos, which he spake concerning the three days of darkness, which should be a sign given of his death unto those who should inhabit the isles of the sea, more especially given unto those who are of the house of Israel.

This verse shows the interest of Nephi in knowing the words and prophecies of the prophets and he pieced them together. The betrayal aspect is covered in with the words "wicked men".
