Matthew 27:18 For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.
Jesus Christ can/does know the thoughts of men, He clearly understood their intentions
Mark 11:18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
The religious leaders of that day only knew how to work in fear, Jesus Christ works not only in true doctrine, perfectly explained, but in Love.
Mark 14:44 And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.
Why was a token needed? Did those who came to arrest Jesus not know who He was by sight?
