1 Nephi 11:32 And it came to pass that the angel spake unto me again, saying: Look! and I looked and beheld the Lamb of God, that he was take by the people; yea, the Son of the everlasting God was judged of the world; and I saw and bear record.
he was taken by the people because he was betrayed and handed over to the wicked people of that time.
2 Nephi 6:9 Nevertheless, the Lord has shown unto me that they should return again. And he also has shown unto me that the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, should manifest himself unto them in the flesh; and after he should manifest himself they should scourge him and crucify him, according to the words of the angel who spake it unto me.
I am watching The Chosen right now, and I already love Jesus as portrayed in this series. I am trying to imagine how I will feel as I watch this Man that I am learning to love more deeply go through the atonement and crucifixion as it is depicted in the series.
D&C 45:53 And then shall they weep because of their iniquities; then shall they lament because they persecuted their king.
Every knee shall bend and every tongue shall speak in worship before Him. But when we do will we rejoice in how we accepted Him and His word during our lives, or will we mourn and feel guilt and shame for our actions, our rejection of Him...Help thou our unbelief. Forgive us of our sins. Let there be peace...
