Zechariah 11:12 And I said unto them, if ye think good, give me my price; and if not forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
The amount that Jesus was betrayed for.
Matthew 27:9 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;
This is the amount of Jesus' betrayal. What is the worth of a soul? Then what is the worth of The Soul that saves all others!?!
Zechariah 13:6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
Judas directly betrayed Jesus, His friends gave Him the wounds in hands, feet, and side. But what suffering have I caused Him by my own choices? And is not this a type of betrayal?
