Psalm 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
What would it be to feel and know that? To feel so trapped by your enemies. Was it David that wrote this? Did he see the day of the Lord? Did he experience these same things?
Psalm 41:9 Yea, mine own familiar friend in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
Do we do this in our own ways? ...turn our backs on the Lord even though He has trusted us at times?
