Jesus Christ --> Authority of - Day 12

 Romans 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

He died and rose from the grave to have authority over both the living and the dead.

Hebrews 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.

He was appointed heir, which gives Him authority.

Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

I struggle with the fact that the pronouns are not capitalized. I believe it is respectful, but also easier to understand when they are.

Because of His death, over which He had control, and His power to rise again, He becomes the author of Eternal Salvation!
