John 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
I can't help but wonder if I am blessed in not seeing the Lord, but having my faith and belief develop over time through careful study and experience.
John 21:4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
They have a hard time recognizing Him, is it solely because they don't expect to see Him?
John 21:14 This is now the third time that Jesus Shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.
Pretty amazing that they get to have these different experiences with the resurrected Christ. But wouldn't it need to be to establish the church. And in our day, do not the Apostles have their own experiences with the Lord? Does He come to confirm specific, and important decisions to them?
