Jesus Christ --> Appearances, Postmortal - Day 5

Acts 1:3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

passion = the atonement of Christ? I also like the phrase, infallible proofs. They could not deny it was Him teaching them the things of the kingdom of God when so many had seen and heard from Him.

Acts 7:55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

This is the story of Stephen who was stoned to death, but He saw the Lord Jesus Christ before he died. My mind wandered to Bro. Hartvigsen telling us how his wife as she was dying just a couple of months ago saw and communicated with a good friend of hers who had died before her. The veil must grow very thin before we die. Maybe just for those who want it to be so...

Acts 9:5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

This is the story of Saul who becomes Paul. And the question "Who art thou, Lord?" strikes me at first as being disrespectful, but then I realized that in front of the Lord Jesus Christ standing in some portion of His glory, the question was asked in respect, but just with very little understanding. He truly wanted to know who he was facing.
