Jesus Christ --> Appearances, Antemortal - Day 10

John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

If Abraham saw the day of the Lord, he must have been glad to see the Lord Himself!

Moses 1:11 The words of God, which he spake unto Moses at a time when Moses was caught up into an exceedingly high mountain.

In these verses we can deduct that the Lord was present with the prophet to deliver the heavenly message.

Moses 7:47 And behold, Enoch saw the day of the coming of the Son of Man, even in the flesh; and his soul rejoiced, saying: The Righteous is lifted up, and the Lamb is slain from the foundation of the world; and through faith I am in the bosom of the Father; and behold, Zion is with me.

Was is necessary for prophets, before Christ came to earth, to see His day that they might better understand the atonement? Whereas, in our day after Christ's mortal life we have the scriptures to teach us what we need to know? And we do not continue to receive much in the way of visions of the future, of His Second Coming, because it is not essential to salvation to know exactly when He will come again or what the exact happenings will be?

Abraham 1:15 And as the lifted up their hands upon me, that they might offer me up and take away my life, behold, I lifted up my voice unto the Lord my God, and the Lord hearkened and heard, and he filled me with the mission of the almighty, and the angel of his presence stood by me, and immediately unloosed my bands.

Is that the angel who was with Christ in the Garden of Gesthemane? The most accomplished angel and giving comfort?

I should probably take more notice of the fact that the Savior can be close at hand in any situation and can help us with exactly what is needed. What if in any situation there are varying levels of success that one can have depending on the state of their faith in Christ. The result yielded was a function of the faith exerted. And in how many situations could a greater, more successful result have been yielded if more faith, better faith had been exerted/exercised.
