Jesus Christ --> Godhead - Day 2

 Matthew 3:17 And to a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

The key here is to show that despite the word suggesting that there is only one god. Our God is a Father, a Son, and the Holy Ghost, three distinct persons.

Matthew 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Again, if the Father acknowledges another then they are not one in the same. They are literally Father and Son, having different functions. The unity is sublime because their purpose is one and they perform it perfectly

3 Nephi 11:17 Hosanna! Blessed be the name of the Most High God! and they did fall down at the feet of Jesus, and did worship him.

You can't have Father without the Son and neither the Son without the Father. As stated above they have their separate functions. But, they are perfectly unified and carry the same names because they are both perfect and responsible for all Godly functions.
