Jesus Christ --> Godhead - Day 3

 Matthew 20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

Essential to all the verses in this section I believe is the idea that the Father is referencing the Son, or the Son is referencing His Father, or that the individual is referencing Them both individually. Here specifically the Son references His Father, showing that some responsibilities are not His to manage.

Matthew 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Within the Godhead Son communicates with His Father. In this verse, The Son performs part of His Holy Atonement, which only He can do. It is not the role of The Father.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Again, if there were only truly one individual who was our God, there would be no need to baptize in the name of all Three.
