Question of the day: How does it feel to have your soul "redeemed from the gall of bitterness and the bonds of iniquity"?
My question is, how long had Alma Sr. prayed for this for Alma the younger? I felt for a brief second that there is always the possibility that Alma the elder prayed for this for his son since the time they lived in Nephi, and that it was now long after that that Alma was being brought around to see the truth -- a true dream come true for Alma the Elder.
Then the sons of Mosiah and Alma go and make reparations. They thrill in sharing the gospel message.
D&C 43: The Lord teaches the people that they need to share the message of the gospel. Again I felt a correlation between what I was reading in the Book of Mormon and the Doctrine and Covenants. I love subtle miracles like this, they strengthen my testimony of my relationship with God.
