Question of the day: What part does the Holy Ghost play in conversion?
It seems to me that the most significant role played by the Holy Ghost is that of confirming truths learned. He provides a feeling that occurs at the same time a truth is taught so that we have a witness of the truth.
In this passage the fact that miracles could not be performed unless the person was cleansed every whit from sin, stood out to me. It is the Holy Ghost that provides the cleansing as we repent and exercise faith in Jesus Christ.
