The cross-references point to the Abrahamic covenant but this verse refers to the covenants in general. For those that search it out it is so enlightening to know of the additional covenants made to Joseph (sold into Egypt), or even Lehi and Nephi.
This also raises the question to me, what covenant should I have with the Lord, or are those, provided by the church sufficient.
