We are too have faith and hope in Jesus Christ. In this verse they wait on the Lord to come the first time.But the verse also applies to us in that we wait for his second coming.
More importantly we all wait on Him for the atonement. We all have faith that we can repent and be forgiven. We also hope in the resurrection.
We are promised off the Lord through His prophets that we will not be ashamed or disappointed.
