Kimball gave a talk on Sunday about Heavenly Father's plan for us to return to him. I let Kimball talk it through and his answers were really good. I asked him some other questions and showed him some scriptures and he responded really well. I think he was surprised that we could find scriptures to clarify the topic.
For me I was really taken aback by the way other topics that day seemed to lead right back to this topic of Our Heavenly Father, His love for us, his gifts to us, His attributes.
The previous week was fast Sunday and I bore my testimony. I knew I was going to and the thoughts about Father's gifts to us just came and flowed, I knew I could testify of those points. And I did.
As we finished the lesson in Priesthood, I felt like multiple lessons on a similar topic warranted writing about it and studying it. Sunday School, Gospel Essentials, and Priesthood were both on this very topic. Over the next couple of days, I will re-read these lessons and see if I can tie some principles together and hopefully recognize in myself a stronger testimony of my relationship with my Heavenly Father.
