Nephi learns more of the meaning of what the Brass Plates are and how they will reach every nation kindred and tongue, not to mention his own seed or the seed of Lehi. He learns that his record and the record of the Jews will come together. These are the words of the prophets that have been recorded, and preserved, hid up and sealed up for Gods purposes. These purposes include the restoration which is part of the fulfillment of the Abrahamic Covenant. The Tree of Life vision Lehi and Nephi have is perfect for describing the ways that the word of the Lord would be needed by all of His children to return to His presence.
