Nephi continues to learn about how the Gentiles would be blessed upon this land. There would be no king. Their only king would be the King of Heaven. They were delivered from any gathered against them -- the French, the English. But here is the thing that stood out to me the most. Columbus was delivered by the power of God. the Gentiles were delivered by the power of God. They had the power of God with them. Three times in a row the point is made that they had the power of god with them. They had been humbled and their blessing was to find the land of promise. And the Lord blesses them to receive the restored gospel. They are blessed then to share that restored gospel with the remnant of the house of Israel --the seed of Lehi. Such great blessings, such miraculous turns of events that allow the purposes of God to be fulfilled.
