Reviewing further the value of the plates that Nephi brought back from Jerusalem. One of the great values was that they could see clearly and prove their genealogy. This is made more valuable by the fact that the Lord made great promises with their fathers. We learn her and through cross-references that they were descendants of Israel, Joseph and specifically Manasseh.
