Abide in the Lord's Territory! - Elder Ulisses Soares

Talks always surprise me when I read them as I see and learn things that for some reason I couldn't understand when I listened to them.

Here are some of the passages that were important to me and that I have been reflecting on:
1. "To sow in the Spirit means that all our thoughts, words, and actions must elevate us to the level of the divinity of our heavenly parents..."
2. Loved this quote from the father of George Albert Smith, "There is a line of demarcation well defined between the Lord's territory and the devil's territory. If you will stay on the Lord's side and of the line you will be under his influence and will have no desire to do wrong; but if you cross to the devil's side of that line one inch you are in the tempter's power and if he is successful, you will not be able to think or even reason properly because you will have lost the Spirit of the lord."
3. if our attitudes are bad, we are being influenced by the enemy because he persuades men to do evil.

These last two thoughts/quotes are so relevant to my family today.  We realize that there is too much of anger and yelling in our home.  We want the spirit.  We have devised a plan such that when anyone yells the others will gather to that person with their arms folded and pray a quick prayer for them that their attitude my be changed. I have felt strongly that this will help our home to be more peaceful.  This is the attitude spoken of above.  When we are angry enough to yell we have crossed the line of demarcation and we are under the tempter's power.  This we must avoid and find greater blessings of the Savior's love in our lives.
