Isaiah speaks of the Messiah again with words that we are familiar with. "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called, wonderful, counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
All of these titles speak so much about who He is and how he loves us individually, as families and collectively as communities, nations and children of our Heavenly Father. There is another phrase that speaks to me of His mercy, "For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still."
He is always reaching for us, inviting us to come back. Why do we not let go of our pride and take His hand?
