Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste of death for every man.
"made a little lower than the angels" as in he came to Earth as a man, instead of a God? And this so that He was capable of dying, which we needed to pay for our sins.
Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
"the first testament" the first covenant? This is what was had under the law of Moses? And then with Jesus comes the "new testament" which will allow for the "promise of eternal inheritance"? Did Moses' law not allow for Eternal Life?
