John 12:33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.
Did he truly reference the crucifixion to the disciples before His death? I guess I always wonder what he knew before His death. Had He watched it play out before Him through visions from His Father?
Acts 2:24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
When it says "raised up" I always think about the cross, Jesus being put on a cross and then raised to the standing position, so that he would be raised up above the heads of other people. Raised up and set up above other so we can see Him and what He has done, that way we can know who to follow, Who to trust, Who to beseech for forgiveness and salvation.
