"Our eternal purpose is to come unto Christ and actively join Him in His great work. It is as simple as doing what President Nelson taught: "Anytime we do anything that helps anyone... make and keep their covenants with God, we are helping to gather Israel." And when we do His work together with Him, we come to know and love Him more.
When I feel lost in the volume of activities I have before me at home and at work, it seems like it would help if I asked myself a few questions. Am I'm doing the work of the Lord? Am I helping someone else to make and keep covenants? If I don't feel like I am or can, look for ways to incorporate the work of the Lord into what I am doing, pray and ask for help to see the work ahead of me in light of the Lord's work and how He would have me do it.
There is an invitation for the youth to consider how they can bless and support their parents. What a great gift this would be to the church as a whole if children were to take a leadership role in blessing their families, inviting them to greater righteousness.
