Verse 8 has always been an important revelation from the Savior about His church and what it should be called.
This time as I read in portuguese I was surprised by the simplicity of a statement that comes before in verse 6. And whoso taketh upon him my name and endureth to the end, the same shall be saved at the last day.
I felt a spiritual prompting, a question, do you not already do this? Are you not already on the path to salvation? Should you not rejoice in this truth? Now, just make sure you keep going, endure, persevere.
