Jesus Christ --> Crucifixion - Day 10

 Matthew 27:35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among the, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

I am impressed with references to past prophets for subtle phrases that are then fulfilled in the life of Jesus.

Mark 15:15 And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.

Pilate only wanted to appease the people. He only wanted to keep them from taking on mob like attitudes. Is that really all? What price did he pay to accomplish that?

John 19:16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.

The decision to be crucified was made and they took Jesus away from where John could see what happened next?
