In a sense he challenges the person asking whether they really want to know and do they have confidence that they are ready to handle the answers he gives them.

I found myself questioning the number twelve. Why twelve? Why not three? Why not fifteen? I think about businesses that start out and they usually start with 2 or 3, not twelve at the helm. I suppose it is really One in the lead, and twelve to follow carefully behind. But being prepared to lead in His absence.
