Mosiah 7:27 And because he said unto them that Christ was the God, the Father of all things, and said that he should take upon him the image of man, and it should be the image after which man was created in the beginning; or in other words, he said that man was created after the image of God, and that God should come down among the children of men, and take upon him flesh and blood, and go forth upon the face of the earth--
The thought that really hits me first is that Jesus Christ is God the Father because he created this earth and all that is in it. But I also sense that he is God the Father because he was created in the image of the Father.
Mosiah 15:2 And because he dwelleth in the flesh he shall be called the Son of God, and having subjected the flesh to the will of the Father, being the Father and the Son--
Because God the Father, Elohim was Jesus' earthly father, that makes Jesus the Son.
Mosiah 15:3 The Father, because he was conceived by the power of God and the Son, because of the flesh thus becoming the Father and the Son--
This may not be right, but my impression is that because God our Heavenly Father created Jesus, He also gave Him of His power. That power was sufficient to live perfectly and to atone for the sins of all mankind, and to rise again from the grave. Because He had this power, He did what only the Father could have done, and He was positioned to be the Father of our souls.
