Question of the day: How was Ammon's reaction to adversity an example of faith?
Ammon's example of faith, his reaction to adversity, is what we all need when we have an opportunity to lead. If there is a trial and we can show forth the power of God, there is so much influence for good, even conversion, that we can have.
I have been thinking about this in terms of my children. If they go off with friends, I want very much for them to choose to lead towards goodness and not take an easier, maybe more popular, path.
D&C: We can bind the Lord to keep promises if we keep the commandments. Where much is given much is required.
