Question of the day: What happens when we harden our hearts?
We choose not to obey, or to repent, or to receive personal direction from the spirit. Just because we harden our hearts does not mean that the Lord does not know our heart, or our mind. In this chapter we read about Zeezrom's transition from staunch opposer to curious and fearful learner. In vs. 1 it mentions how Zeezrom had stopped because Amulek had confounded him. In vs 7 it mentions how the Lord knew his thoughts. I have to assume that Amulek used phrases that were specific and almost word for word what Zeezrom had thought. In vs. 14 we learn about how we will be judged according to our words, works, and thoughts. Zeezrom had been judged according to those things as well.
