Question of the day: Why are "the prayers of the righteous" so important?
The Lord loves and cares for those whose hearts are turned to him. He will do what he can to protect them. I wondered as I read about the people of Ammonihah, what of our day? Are there places that would have some great destruction if there were not righteous people in that place? What about the US in general, maybe even economically? Do we reach a point where the overall righteousness of the people takes a dip and there are calamities of sorts? Do those humble the people enough to receive again the blessings of the Lord?
