Question of the day: "Yea, I say unto you come and fear not, and lay aside every sin, which easily doth beset you." How does fear affect the repentance process?
I think we fear embarrassment. We wrongfully assume that no other has the problems we do, and we fear the judgements of others.
I also appreciated the delineation of reasons baptism is essential, and the need to follow the order of the Son of God --the Priesthood.
There is here a reference to Faith, Hope, and Charity. An important theme.
D&C: Interesting section on how the water is cursed and the Saints traveling for preaching the gospel should choose certain paths.
