Question of the day: How can you know if you have received a change of heart?
I'm not sure how to answer this question more than I think there are two things to consider. 1. If I have been rebelling against God, the transition from dark to light is probably more stark, more easy to recognize and that change of heart is pretty important. 2. What then of those already trying their very best to keep the commandments of God. How do we identify the imperceptible improvements in the heart that takes part in an ever-changing of the heart. I can only posit that we continue to recognize an increasing frequency with which we feel the influence of the Holy Ghost.
I also thought about the question, which fold are we in and which shepherd do we follow? What do our works look like, they will define which shepherd we are following.
D&C 58: keep the commandment even through trial and difficulty to be blessed of the Lord. Remember we can't see the full picture, nor can we know what joy and fulfillment await us for enduring to the end.
