Question of the day: Why did Mosiah not select another king over the land?
I'm interested in the question of the majority and minority of the vote of the people. Mosiah was teaching a principle that applies today. I know sometimes we hear all this talk about certain people and practices and their choices which are wrong to us according to the commandments of God. As we hear more and more on the news we tend to start to believe that we are hearing the voice of the majority, when in reality it is still the minority. And the minority can sound quite loud. My question is, how obvious will it be when the majority chooses iniquity or choices that are against the commandments? Will we see it clearly in the laws that are passed?
