Day 91 Hopping into April Today's reading: Omni 1:12-30

Question of the day: What's your favorite part of Omni 1:26?

I guess I have a few, I feel Mosiah must have been a pretty righteous man to have the courage as the king to leave their "inheritance" behind and move away. And then how inspired to be led to the people in Zarahemla.

I thought about how I had recently asked why those keeping the record were only concerned with genealogy when maintaining the language was also important. The people of Zarahemla didn't have a record to help them maintain their language.

Amaleki seems to be a pretty good guy, at least he seems more righteous than some of his predecessors. His faithfulness shines a light on other faithful people and allows the attention to be turned back towards things of righteousness like prophecies, revelation, and etc.

D&C: The introductory commentary on the D&C talks about the lectures on faith and how they used to be in the Doctrine and Covenants. Makes me want to go back and read them.
