Isaiah's way of prophesying was difficult for people to understand, and continues to be so. I certainly couldn't explain all the reasons I don't understand. But here are a few things I think should be considered: Isaiah spoke of his time, the savior's day, and the last days almost simultaneously. You would need to know about the different eras to understand how the words could apply. Isaiah speaks in reference to people of his time and there are many historical details you would have to be up on to understand. We must have the gift of prophecy and revelation to understand and appreciate Isaiah's words. The gift of the Holy Ghost will provide the help needed to truly appreciate Isaiah's prophecies.
