I remember pondering this passage years ago and trying to understand what it meant. I don't know that I understand much better, but grateful for the insights of the footnotes, which teach that this butter and honey was the diet of the nomad. When I think about Jesus being a nomad, I picture him walking from house to house and person to person to teach and share His gospel.
