our dispensation has the same heavy responsibility as Nephi's in that we have the law given, we have the commandments.
Before Joseph Smith they had the Bible but not the full understanding of the law.
On an individual level how do we view this responsibility to learn and keep the commandments. I have chosen to make and keep covenants based on what I have learned and felt since I was a child. So I am committed to improving my performance of the commandments. It deeply saddens me to see others less inclined to that same effort.
