Enos desired that the Lord would preserve the record they were writing for the Lamanites in case the Nephites got wiped out, destroyed. It seems a strange thing to think our request of the Lord. He claims these desires as his own, and without analyzing what he had already had in spiritual instruction out seems odd that he would ask for this.
