Pres. Packer: Experience when he was in the war, wanting to know that the church was true, he received a personal witness. Personal revelation comes through prayer. The ultimate end of all activity in the church is for a mana and woman and their family to be happy at home. All those who make personal and sacred ordinances will have what they need to attain Salvation and Exaltation. Holy Ghost provides all that is needed for comfort peace, and guidance. Think of all of the ways that the name of Jesus Christ is used in the church, prayers, ordinances, blessings. 2 Nephi 25:26
We must come to our own witness of Jesus Christ, and then we must share it with others. D&C 76. Their words are my words. For we saw him. Pres Packer assures us two or three times that he testified of Christ by his position as a special witness of Him.
Elder William R. Walker: Loves church history, mentions the history of Gilbert AZ Temple. We should know the conversion of our ancestors. When and where were my parents and grandparents converted. Story of Wilford Woodruff and the conversion of the United Brethren at Benbow farm. Robert Harris, an ancestor of Walkers, converted with this group. He also served in the Mormon Battalion. Harris believed the words of the prophet of God as if it came from God himself. [me] it seems that I have heard this thought earlier in conference.
Elder Perry: Has FHE with other families living close to him. He hasn't had that since he was a boy. He cherishes his memories of associating with family members including his grandfather who taught him about breaking in horses and the need for them to know who is in charge. They have to be introduced to the bit. He was being taught about how to follow the Spirit. If we allow the Holy Ghost to guide us James 3:3. we will never be led into serious transgression. We must be willing to completely alter our course to work with the Spirit.Hearing and obeying the spirit allows our spirit and body in alignment.
Abraham's faith in taking Isaac to Mount Mariah to do so many things that he knew were asked of him. How did he have the strength to lift his arm. He was proved all the way to the end. Isaac must have had faith in both his God and his Father.
Elder Perry challenges us to be obedient and follow the promptings of the spirit. We can experiment upon his words.
Elder Christofferson: Despair at His death, and joy at his resurrection. [me] who else highlighted this? Mary first saw the resurrected Lord. His keys of resurrection, were they given to Him while on Earth? Were the keys of creation also provided to him while he was here on the Earth? We know that he has them. (Elder Oaks priesthood session), But we know that he used them to create the Earth, before its existence. Michael must have had keys when he was here on the earth. Did he use keys to help create the earth? OR was it an assignment under those keys held by the Savior. Maybe the Savior did not need to have these keys given to him because he held them before the earth and knew it. But because of our veil and lack of faith, we cannot use those keys we had access to previously. Did we use keys before Earth life. Study and know Jesus! Power of Godliness is manifest. (verse mentioned more than once. Reality of Resurrection.
Pres. Monson: What a wonderful conference. Music, prayers and talks are inspired by the Holy Spirit. Careful review and study.
May our homes be filled with love and courtesy.
Strengthen our testimony.

(C&C) Hark All Ye Nations
Elder Lawrence E. Corbridge: Joseph Smith reads from the Bible and a passage strikes him and he prepares to kneel and ask God in prayer. He offers up the desires of his heart. Joseph Smiths own words. Saw God the Father and His Beloved Son Jesus Christ. This would be the beginning of the restoration. 24 years later he would be martyred. The truth will always be opposed. Outlines the truths of the gosple that were restored through Joseph Smith. Truths that were needed to correct what was misunderstood at the time in which he lived. Look at the evidence and ask God. [me] it is a testimony to me. Joseph Smith is a topic I'm studying right now because Lehi teaches of him in 2 Nephi 3. What a powerful thing that Lehi taught. He explained his son's namesake. It was a special thing that he was blessed with the name Joseph because historically it was based on a name that received a blessing that would affect him and his posterity. It was also to help him to see the value of his name in the future that the fulfillment of the promises received by Joseph of Egypt would come about through Joseph Smith. The restoration of the gospel would bring the words of the Book of Mormon to the natives of this land which are the descendants of Lehi. So powerful.
Elder Michael John U. Teh: 7 years of plenty; what do we gather, what do we spend our money on. HOw do we fill the measure of our creation. Why do we spend time on things that are fleeting. What do we pursue that is trivial. What will constitute our treasures in heaven. We must acquire the attributes of Christ. (Bednar teaches about this)
2. Strengthen family relationships.
3. Serving others is a true hallmark of a disciple of christ
4. Strengthening our knowledge and testimony of Christ by learning and understanding doctrine. Most satisfying.
Grandma who lost everything including grandchildren worked to make a little money from her tent. pays tithing and treasures her temple recommend.
Elder Marcos Aidukaitis: We like the internet, but we have to be careful because satan wants us to be miserable like he is. Need to be able to differentiate between good knowledge and truths and satan's lies. Ways to know the truth 1. fruit of church, 2. Alma seed experimenting. 3. personal revelation. Ask in faith. Studying it out in our mind, ask in prayer. Friend that says he is not a spiritual person, and can't understand the word of God and won't try, this is hardening of the heart and casting out. Sons of Alma and Mosiah had spirit of prophecy and revelation through study, prayer, fasting, attending church, etc. Willing to do Gods will when we find it. [me] need to study scriptures and teach with scriptures.
[me] it has seemed to me that there has been greater intensity used by speakers in this conference than in previous conferences. More seriousness, more enthusiasm,
