2 Nephi 3:21 Covenants with Fathers

Covenants were made with Abraham Isaac, Jacob, Joseph. But I think if we look closely we notice that prophets throughout time and place have learned to receive promises of the Lord. Nephi/Lehi received a proud that if they kept the commandments they would prosper in the land. They also received promises that the words they were writing would be preserved. Enjoys 1:13-18
