Nephi has taught us about the genealogy that Lehi found on the brass plates. Then reminds us that this is where her learned of the great power of deliverance we see often from the Lord in the scriptures especially with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
The covenants these fathers made seems to have provided these additional blessings of being able to be delivered.
