Jesus marvelled that in his own home he could do no mighty works. He healed a few, by the laying on of hands. We have seen that when there was faith Jesus could heal from afar.
We read about the miracle of the 5 loaves and 2 fishes feeding the five thousand. Soon after the disciples had forgotten about this miracle and wondered that Jesus could walk on water and calm the seas. It is so amazing to read about these miracles and I wonder how I would have responded if I had been there. And would I have felt the Spirit as I experienced them.
The wicked Herod and the wicked people around them killed one of the most righteous men to ever walk the Earth. Certainly the greatest prophet. How could they do this? How did John respond? Do we give into peer pressure and succumb to our temptations?
