The most significant thought that occurs to me as I read this chapter was how important his role as healer was. It was so important, and people came and pressed towards him so they could touch him and be cleansed. And He healed them everyone. When He called the twelve His mission for them was to continue that exact work, preaching, and healing, and casting out devils. So then what of my faith in the frequency with which I see people healed. My faith will be stronger as I remember the most important part of healing -- the focus is on the Savior. Ask the question, how do you feel towards the Savior? Let the person be reminded of their own faith in the Son of God who has all power to heal. Then their faith and yours as the one providing the blessing will be strengthened and miracles will happen.
