Isaiah 2 - 2 Nephi 12

Isaiah, seeing as he did through special visions, could tell us of our day in a way that described the day of the Lord as well as his own day.  It always amazes me.  In this chapter, maybe more than others, it does seem as though he is speaking to our day.  Especially when the chapter starts of speaking about when the Lord's house would be established in the tops of the mountains.  It is exciting to be cited as a people that would worship God in His temples.

We do also learn that this is in preparation for the second coming and that the people will be judged.  Those that are not living righteously suffer from worshipping idols and being prideful.  We learn that all will be made low and humble in preparation for His coming.  And that only He will be lifted up at the last day.

I am coming to love and appreciate Isaiah's words.
