John 20:25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
Doubting Thomas. Yet they had seen so many miracles. But if you didn't have someone to question, as you yourself might question how could you see a different perspective. If all had just trusted that it would be so it would not have been representative of a normal population. Jesus needed a Thomas to state those very things. And Jesus did have those marks upon resurrection to prove he was who he was. I long for my time to touch those marks and know unequivocally that it is he to whom I owe everything. Not that I doubt there is a Christ but just to joy in that moment of knowing it is He.
