John 19:37 And again another scripture saith ,They shall look on him whom they pierced.
The fascinating thing about these scriptures is that they mention certain aspects of the crucifixion but not directly describe all of it together or at once. Pierced is the word that connects this verse to the crucifixion.
Zechariah 13:6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
I can't help but picture those that Jesus blessed when He was early in His ministry. What if they were also part of the group that caused Him to be condemned? I'm picturing faces from The Chosen...
