Jesus Christ --> Authority of - Day 20

 D&C 1:6 Behold, this is mine authority, and the authority of my servants, and my preface unto the book of my commandments, which I have given them to publish unto you, O inhabitants of the earth.

This is more direct than most of the previous verses we've reviewed, Jesus speaks of His authority.

D&C 19:24 I am Jesus Christ; I came by the will of the Father, and I do his will.

Because He understands the will of the Father, He can do it, and His understanding of that will is the authority to do it.

D&C 20:24 And ascended into heaven, to sit down on the right hand of the Father, to reign with almighty power according to the will of the Father;

By accomplishing the atonement and resurrection, Jesus' completed the necessary steps to be at the right hand of His Father. But it was always going to be this way and He was God even before this.
