Abraham 5:4 And the Gods came down and formed these the generations of the heavens and of the earth, when they were formed in the day that the Gods formed the earth and then heavens,
In the temple we learn of the creation, that under the direction of the Father, Jesus created the earth. All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made (John 1:3). (The Living Christ)
Abraham 5:7 And the Gods formed man from the dust of the ground, and took his spirit (that is , the man's spirit), and put it into him; and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.
These words remind us of the temple another place where we see, and hear, and understand the individual roles of God the Father (Elohim), and God the Son (Jehovah), and we see them do the work of the creation.

What a glorious passage, and I hope to be able to recite it by memory in many languages. So much is restored to our understanding about God from just this one moment in time. And we love Joseph Smith for it.
