Jesus Christ --> God, Creator - Day 5

Jacob 4:9 For behold, by the power of his word man came upon the face of the earth, which earth was created by the power of his word. Wherefore, if God being able to speak and the world was, and to speak and man was created, O then, why not able to command the earth, or the workmanship of his hands upon the face of it, according to his will and pleasure?

Did Jesus merely speak the words and the action occurred? Is that a function of intelligences obeying? What power! And so worthy of my worship.

Mosiah 4:9 Believe in God; believe that he is, and that he created all things, both in heaven and in earth; believe that he has all wisdom, and all power, both in heaven and in earth; believe that man doth not comprehend all the things which the Lord can comprehend.

I think I could see that I don't comprehend the ways of God, even in that previous verse. The ability to create is something so unknown to me, to mankind. I know there are ways that we create even in our own simple ways, but does that compare to the power to create a world, and every thing, living or otherwise, in it?

Mormon 9:11 But behold, I will show unto you a god of miracles, even the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob; and it is that same God who created the heavens and the earth, and all things that in them are.

The great Creation of the world truly is a miracle. And how does that relate to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? I think in part it is because the fulfillment of prophecies made to these brethren are a series of miracles that cannot be refuted. Greater still because they were made so long ago and fulfilled so long after. Truly a God of miracles has this power to see and act from beginning to end.
